Airstream Customer Council
I just saw the comments from two of those who served on the ACC (Airstream Customer Council) for the first term. Here is a link ( https://www.airstream.com/blog/tag/A...ource=hs_email).
I served on a supplier council for Harley-Davidson and found the experience to be extremely beneficial for all parties. I would assume it's the same for the ACC.
Maybe I'll apply the next time they ask for volunteers.

FYI there is a fairly recent thread on the ACC:

Post #3 there contains links to earlier threads, for an historical perspective.
FYI

On the application they ask for your Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter addresses. That tells me they may not be interested in us older folks who have decided we've had enough of social media.

That's an interesting perspective. I don't use any of these platforms so I guess there is no need to apply!
I am somewhat tempted to check out the Airstream threads on Facebook but I've had so many friends been hurt by Facebook that I've never wanted to be part of it.
But of course I'm sure Facebook has some merits as billions of people use it!

It’s a lovely way to put your personal life into the hands of the world. As a computer security wonk, I absolutely refuse to use it...

I'm sure that was the reason for not being chosen!
I am glad to see that 800 people applied! Thanks for putting for the effort!

......800 peep's and 'HIGHLY COMPETITIVE'.
Unfortunate that they don't feel the same about selling Airstreams.

I got the same "Thanks but no thanks" email. I also applied to be an ambassador back in October and never even got an acknowledgement.
Supposedly Airstream made 21 improvements based on last year's council. Can't seem to find a list of what they were, though. Hmmmm.
