My eastern languages expert son tells me that the kanji translate exactly as "Flying Cloud." Whaddya' know about that?
Should we send them the kanji for "they all leak eventually"?

Chinese Airstream
I bet they copy it and start selling them first in UK and Germany with little to no import tax,then start selling them in the states.The prices will be half.
the quality will be about the same.Which is sad on two points....
are there any patents owned by airstream other than the name ?

Co-worker translated to Flying Cloud, but using a character for flying that was for Tiawan, not the newer, simpler character in use elsewhere. Still neat to see.

China is about two years away from wage parity with the US. Meaning, it will be as expensive to produce in China as it is in, for example, Arkansas.
If they would have wanted to copy trailers, they would have done it by now.
