I was at a presentation today about the Air Forces presidential transport squadron and learned about the VIP Airstreams the Air Force owns.

These are Airstreams that are on pallets instead of wheels so that they can be loaded onto a C-17 transport plane. They are used to transport VIPs like General Mattis. Interiors are seriously upgraded for VIP comfort.

It looks like the trailer is in sections. Reading on, read that they are retiring them and also the only thing stopping the front to back movement were those nets....saw those and the straps over the body and just cringed, but hey, your tax dollars at work, what's a new exterior skin panel or two, right?
