I am at the top of the payload when loading with 4 adults but for the most part it will be just my wife and I. I do wish that RAM would increase the payload rating like GM does for their diesel trucks but it is what it is and the 3500 ride was just a little harsh for my everyday driving.

Hi
There are lots of fiddly little things that can impact how a truck rides / handles. Go from 18" wheels to 20" wheels and things change. Go from "on road" tires to super duper off road tires and things change. Some combos get better when loaded, others ride best without a lot of loading ....
Our F350 rides fine loaded or unloaded. It handles better with a load ... The F250 rode fine either way, but handled a bit better unloaded.
Crazy !!!
