Adjustable Dinette column (adjust height)?

Does anyone reading this have one of the new height-adjustable columns in their Airstream?
I am asking the dealer to add a height-adjustable center column to my dinette table, rather than the old-style wall bracket and folding leg.

My goal is to be able to adjust the height of the table to ANY height, to allow me to turn it into a comfortable desk height when working with the laptop. I'm having a hard time finding out if the stock Airstream one only snaps into predefined heights, or if it will allow for user-chosen heights based on my whim (e.g. 29' tall, 28' tall, etc)

If the Airstream one does not allow for this, are you aware of another supplier who makes one that is infinite? That's been hard to find online as well...
