It is very nice that they posted this. It gives some clarity to where they are headed.

Reading the bio's I understand why I wasn't even given a rejection notice. I at my age and demographic are clearly not where they are headed and wanting input from.

This is really good news for me as it further supports the money I am spending on changes and modifications to our 2007 with my wife. We may be a dinosaur but my kids are fighting over who gets it when we die!!.....and the trailer will usable for them from day 1.

A quick rewiew of bios showed no Interstate owners. One previously owned an Interstate and is now in an Atlas.

This is very cool! I like the idea that Airstream is bringing in regular Jills and Joes to help improve the brand.

Looks like a diverse group. With so many different backgrounds they should bring a positive influence to AS.

And I think it is a positive move on the part of AS management. Learning from the person who has first hand experience is of extreme value, if they listen and apply.

Hope the council members encourage more quality and effective modern upgrades that work well. Some upgrades do not work well, or are in low quality. Let's bring AS up to higher quality than ever. Some competitors are catching up...

I too am hopeful the ACC will, indeed, a have positive impact soon and into the future.

Perhaps the ACC will provide additional support to Justin Humphreys, COO, and what I believe is his sincere commitment to quality and continuous improvement.

Cheers,
Bryan

I will remain hopeful, but skeptical. It appears they ignored the feedback on this forum for years. Not ready to join the love fest yet, but I will keep an open mind.

I agree. Airstream has never embraced the knowledge that this forum has brought to the table. This forum is such a rich resource that it is a shame that it has not become the customer council of thousands and a source for Airstream to work more closely with.

? What demographic do you think they missed?

Reading the Bios it appears to me they have attempted to cover the wide spectrum of demographics of Airstream owners.

Two are retired and at least one with Grandchildren. A couple of others are approaching retirement. Some full time traveling. Some weekend and vacation time only. Some at that point in life where they are deciding on what their future looks like. They have some singles and couples, males and females, some with pets and no pets, some with children and no children.

With what appears to be only a 7 person group they have done a pretty good job of cover the demographic of AS owners these days.

I count 11 names. Unless I missed it during my quick scan of their bios, no current Interstate owners.
