Thanks Rich. Hopefully mine won't be the one they use to train a bunch of new hires on. Guess I better do a visit to Jackson Center in a couple weeks for some added oversight.

Fifty ASes/A**es.

That reminds me. A provincial election is looming.

You know you can do that. They allow you to watch yours being built. If you want to watch the whole thing (except dangerous areas) it takes 9 days and 300 man hours to complete. They welcome it.

Edit: I thought all looked well on the line. Happy workers having fun....that's always a good thing. Nothing like a hard economic time to put new perspective on work.

If Airstream would let you be the Quality Control inspector as you watched the unit being built it would be a benefit. Of course build time would double.

Wow, that's nearly ten times the production height at which Silver Streak used to run.

Anyone have an idea of how many Avion or Streamline TT's were built on average during their years of production?

I'm pleased to read that this premium TT is in demand at this level.

1972 is said to be Airstream's highest sales year. I wonder how many units Airstream was building per week in 1972. I can only find sales figures $$$ for the year, not units built. At any rate, it is great to hear things are well in JC.

The American economy peaked in 1966, and personal income peaked in 1973.
