Looking at new trucks is not one of the tasks.
Bragging on how new your truck is? My 4Runner is 14 years old, runs great. Of course, I have barely 100K miles on it. My '91 Camry is my daily driver because the wife doesn't like me using her '99 Sienna.

Buy 'em new, drive 'em until the wheels fall off. (So far, all the wheels have stayed on.)

Who the hell is buying an F450 anyways? ( Niche market item IMHO) But, it is a bit alarming.... The trend of rising truck prices is reaching the breaking point. My father bought a new (2017) F150 in Lariat trim and dropped an easy 60K ! I'd bet within a decade a 100K truck will not seem so exotic.
I bought my first NEW truck in 2013, scored a hell of a deal @ 39K out the door, for that kind of money I'll keep it running no matter what it costs....

Yeah. Like the dark, dim days of 1997 when others were swearing off a new Dodge diesel as MSRP had gotten above $20,000. "I'd never pay that much!!"

Yep I sure like my new 2500 ram....my last Kenworth with a E model Cat at 500 hp with a drop axle and 16.5' sturdy weld dump box was $110,000 which included the excise tax...in 1999... I wish the as was as trouble free as the Kw or ram...

My pick-up; straight six diesel; no turbo or supercharger; mechanical injection; wind up windows, 1 ton capacity with bulletproof reliability. North American trucks are way too complex, too large and sissy for me.

Important things in a truck..... 4x4 decals and going to the mall????

Cheers
Tony
