Think I got lucky with my battery door or not?

The guy with Avion parked next to me in the storage lot left me a present. Thanks a lot ,btw.
The door frame looks ok and it closes just fine. The plastic on the inside looks untouched and holds the battery in place. I am hoping he got me dead-center and I can just reskin it. Think I got lucky? Where can I get some skin? Or is this going to be WAY more complicated that I think it is, like usual.

Looks like you should be making an insurance claim and let them go after the neighboring offender.

I think re-skinning will work

Whoever fixes the damage will use the best-choice sheet-aluminum available.

Unfortunately, the aluminum's patina will most likely not match the rest of your Airstream.

The door will look different UNLESS you choose to go ahead and polish the ENTIRE coach at this point.

Salvage Part

I would call several salvage yards and try and find one. Older model so there should be one around - try and find out how many models used this door and the years to widen the possible options for a match. Hey, if it aged the same then the matchup will look good.
