Storage compartment lock replacement

I have a 2007 Safari 25' AS, and the left side storage compartment lock is totally locked up. Took it to Out Of Doors Mart where I was told that AS is not using this lock anymore, and they do not have any of the old locks. It is AS part #380770. They suggested that I contact other AS dealers to see if any of them have this discontinued part. Do any of you have a lead for finding this lock? I have a hard time understanding how AS doesn't stock a part for a 2007 AS. Any help will be most appreciated.

I think these compartment locks are simple generic locks. Take one off and you should find them at any good locksmith shop or maybe even HD & Lowes. If it locked and closed just drill out the tumblers and remove it. If you're not sure where to drill try google and U-tube. You can find most anything on there so maybe it's there

Did you ever find out who makes these? I need a replacement for the front storage compartment door on a 2011 FB 27.

Unfortunately the manufacturer of these lock assemblies went out of business and that is why AS does not have them in stock, beyond their control. I have been searching for a direct replacement for the lock assy., but I am unable to find one. Call your dealer and ask them for a compartment door replacement and the new door will come with the updated lock assy.
