Stainless Refrigerator side vents…
While at Alumapalooza, I wandered into the store and found something new! When we got our new 16’ International, I began purchasing the Stainless accessories that Airstream provided. The hot water heater cover and the stove vent were the only ones available at that time. I was depressed as I really hate the plastic vents provided by Dometic. They just look cheesy!!! Anyway Airstream is now providing the stainless alternatives that you see here in the picture. This is not a plug and play installation! You will need to cut aluminum in several places, enlarge holes in the new Stainless fabrication (unless you want to attach the parts with #4 screws!), fabricate gaskets and then you have to drill 20 holes per panel! Not really that big a deal but, be prepared…. I love the look! Oh and it appears as though you will need to figure out what lock the door is designed for. The girls behind the counter had no idea when I was there!
