Exterior doors and vents

I am restoring a 1965 Ambassador. I plan on customizing the interior and changing the original floor plan. I’m curious what my options are for the exterior vent covers/doors from the original utilities like the water heater, furnace etc.

Design around them so your new design use them for water heater and furnace, this would be a great "restore". Second option is to get a box trailer you can redo the outside covering to meet your design. Once you change the outside you aren't doing a restore your doing a one off and you might as well rivet covers over the holes.
