Or Inland. The rear compartment? I just got the three point latch for the rear door from VTS, because the latch was so iffy and I was afraid to lose it.

Many owners have lost the rear "one stop center door".

Why, this time, has two answers.

1. It was not inserted into the top groove or latched properly.

2. Rear end separation. That will cause the riveted frame to expand vertically, which then simply lets the door fall out when hitting a bump.

Is there an easy fix??

Yes, indeed.

Attach a couple of lengths of very small chain to the inside top of the door and then to the inside top of the door jamb.

Keep the chain short enough so that the door when opened will hang below the jamb. That also keeps it from hitting the ground.

I heard inland rv has reproduction doors but I meant to say VTS has this extrusion allowing you to build your own doors.

Hingeless Baggage Door Frame Extrusion

The bulb gasket though, was OK some 45 years ago.

Today, it's not even good enough for a paper weight.

The "D" shaped gasket, leaves the bulb type gasket, way back in the dust.

Here's my first attempt. Far from perfect but I think I may have it figured out for the next door. Getting the miters right is tough.
I didn't know about the bulb gasket, maybe I can fit a D shaped gasket in there.
