Just got back from a great trip in the southern Colorado Mountains and lost my exterior hot water heater cover that is on the roadside rear of trailer, on the road somewhere in New Mexico. Does anyone know where I might find a replacement? Also, what year models have this same cover?
Was it the original stainless cover or a replacement Atwood cover? If the original stainless and a 10 gallon you may find someone here who has one left over from an install where they decided not to convert it. Otherwise you'll have to track one down from a salvage yard.
I believe Airstream now has stainless covers for new Atwoods in 6 gallon models.
If you had an Atwood cover already - you can get one any where they sell the water heaters or order it online.
You may want to call a fabrication shop (local). I used a company we dealt with at our plant for stainless work. I had some pieces of stainless made up custom for around $80 (not for my AS but actually more complicated). The 10Gal door on my AS looks a lot easier than what I had them build for me (stainless surround for a wall oven) - they made mine from scrap stock.
If you can't find one at a salvage yard it might be a better option.
