That gasket is triangular shaped.
The white part is mounted to the door sheetmetal.
The gasket rests against the sheet metal and the door framing.
Apply some adhesive to the white side of the gasket, and to the backside of the door sheetmetal.
Allow that to dry for about 10 minutes, and then install it. Use caution when installing it since once you place it against the door, you will not be able to move it.
Start at the center of the bottom of the door, and go around the top. At the bottom, overlap the gasket about 1/8 of an inch. Apply adhesive to both ends of the gasket. After 10 minutes, stick the 2 ends together as well as against the sheet metal.
That in effect gives you a solid gasket, with no cuts, or seams.
Photo's won't show you that procedure.
After the installation is complete, spray the gasket with silicone spray and shut the door. Leave the door shut for a couple of hours to allow all the adhesive to properly bond the gasket to the metal.
