I believe the minister that performed the wedding ceremony for Sparkle Plenty and Junior Tracy was loosely based on Chester Gould. Uncle Ray Tracy.

Do we have a name? Hooray!
If Silver doesn’t make it, the actor who played Tonto was named Jay Silverheel.
My wife and I play a game called “Airstream Alert”, where we call out any Airstreams we see. In Florida, they help you out by posting our fellow travelers on the overhead signs, with a description of the driver and tow vehicle, but they call them “Silver Alerts”. There must be a competition, because a text link is provided. It all fits with your original concept, about being seen. So, “Silver Alert”.
