Wooden sink cover for a 2017 30' Classic
We would like to replace our corian sink cover with a wooden cover in our 2017 30' Classic. The corian is a rectangular split shape. Ideally, one side would be solid wood with the other slotted, if possible. Any ideas?

Hi
If you aren't into DIY a local cabinet shop should be able to make up whatever you have in mind.

My wife did not like the corian sink cover and wanted wood. So I made one.

sink cover
Don't mean to hijack the thread, but Sbowman, what combination of woods did you use for that. Nice job though and great idea. We do not like the corian top either. It has been sitting in the end of the recliner since we bought the coach.

If you aren't into gluing pieces together then consider this item from Ikea which only requires you to cut the perimeter and, possibly router the edge to match the lip.

Thank you.
Black Walnut and Red Oak. Gorilla wood glue and biscuit joint disks. Lots of butcher block oil.
The wife was not happy w/bathroom sink either.
Best regards and safe travels

If anybody has replaced their split rectangular Corian sink covers, I'd be interested in buying your originals. We bought our 27' GT used, and the previous owners apparently misplaced them somewhere.

Maybe if I had a wood one. Wish someone was making them, I might have to buy a router and a bigger cutting board and make one.
