No storage facilities
No pictures - just the observation that few of us, in some of the worst winter locations, have any shelter for our Airstreams. On the other hand, those in nice, sunny, warm locations seem to have their rigs nicely covered! I personally know what the heat and sun can do - so I guess it's no surprise. I've brushed my Airstream off twice so far this winter (---Autumn!!!) - both times with over 20" of snow on it. I wonder if anyone knows how much snow we can have built up before we should start worrying? I'm hoping that the winter eases off a bit - starting today!

An "Ice age"
Cracker
As I live here in the NE as well..(NH), my thoughts are..
Just be sure you cover the A/C unit with a cover and, as for the rest? Unless it's an "ICE AGE", you really don't need to worry..The top structure of A/S will be fine. (As far as the weight of snow is concern)
Overall,
it would be better for your unit if you had it under shelter or covered..less chance for frozen water to get in between joints, etc.
goood luck...
ciao

Blue neon in the wheel wells would be cool, as well as a blue neon tube around the circumfrence of the windows.

Carol,
You know that is a very nice photo...if you could just get the coach a bit more in the shot with that background, I would submit it to Airstream for pic of the month.

Thanks twink!
Just stopped back and saw your nice comment. You're right there are so many nice photos in this thread. I didn't realize there was a photo of the month ongoing. I will have to go back to Airstream's site and take a look. Once I saw a couple of night pictures with great lighting and colors there. Certainly something to try to aspire to. I also like the greeting card pictures and ideas. I plan on getting a few books with trailer pictures too. It seems like this forum could put out its own members book or newsletter. Lots of fun and talent here.
