I found it under the kitchen sink in Bambi. Looks like a little hammock for a chihuahua! Can anyone tell me what it is?

I think you're right. While I was puzzled by it, my husband, who has a tiny hiney, figured it right out when I asked him. Of course I couldn't sit on it, but he was able to demonstrate to my satisfaction
