What do you do when you're bored at work?

What do you do at work... besides lurk on the airforums of course... does your choosen trade allow you the fun of making stuff for your AS at work?

Right now at the sign shop I am making a "stained glass" panel for my back window of my Safari

What is work anyway? Been retired five years now. This week we are watching three of our nine grandchildren, ages two to six. That sure is a pretty piece of work, looks like it could have come out of an old Victorian house in Toledo, Ohio.

Watching three kids is way more work than the thumb twiddling I am doing here today. Yesterday my boss sent me home to play with my trailers. Today I sent her home to play with her garden :-)

I'm bored most of the time at work because I don't have much to do. If I had a life, I would go do something cool like make fancy windows. (Of course, I would have to be artistally talented, which I'm not.)

So, I look at various forums, call up vendors and talk about guns, trucks, Airstreams, and other stuff. If I can think of something fun to do, I go do it.

I have really good people running things at my company, so, I let them do it with very little interference. It's rough being me, but the pay is good.

When I got bored at work, I retired. I'm still retired, but not bored.

He he, I just bring airstream parts in for us to work on. Last week we stripped and refinished all the white oak cabinetry here. I can definitely see the appeal to retiring and puttering an AS's full time

Never ever bored at work. Glad when stuff is not hitting the fan. We Go around knocking on wood, watching the phase of the moon, and never ever saying the Q (its quiet) word.

Boredom consists of doing nothing because you have nothing to do. On the other hand, if you have something to do, and you're just not doing it, that's fun!

Oh, I love that one. I'm going to remember it so I can use it now and then.
