If you would be kind enough to share some more details it would be appreciated. Where did you get the grate and how extensive were the modifications?
Thank you!

My pleasure. Life changing upgrade, right? I’ll DM you the details.

I’m very interested also, but I have a different Atwood cooktop with the two piece cheap grills. If you could provide measurements I’d appreciate it. I’m thinking, if they’ll fit in cooktop opening area, I may be able use them. Thanks

I dunno, this site is addicting and gets expensive with all the good ideas. This stuff is like a kid in a candy shop. Irresistible. Over the last week I bought:
* 25' Valterra 90 degree power cord 50 AMP.
* Samsung 32" TV
* AMANK Digital to analog converter (For overhead speakers)
* 1000 LB Summa Springs for Tundra ( Easy install, did not notice difference in ride w/o AS)
* AMIR Digital Refer thermometer
* Valterra Fridge Exhaust Fan
*Water volume control valve for shower
* Shinestar Propane Pig tails
* Dinosaur RV Ignitor & Control Board for Water heater( Easy install, kept Dometic board for backup, stupid thing never worked right)
* Flextape, Flex Seal (Just-in-case)
* new rubber feet for collapsible ladder
* Battery (rechargeable) powered powered spray washer. (Wash whole AS with 5 galleon bucket)
* Removed 200 LBS of stuff from bed of truck

Agreed, easy to spend and fun to customize and improve.
Before our most recent trip, I installed:
* New hansgrohe faucet
* Durafaucet outdoor shower replacement
* 300W of additional rooftop solar
* USB 3.0 fast charge outlets
* Loctite on refrigerator hinge that always came loose
* Loctite and furniture stoppers on plexiglass dividers that always came loose
* Camco HybridHeat for electric heat capability
I modified my Weber Q so it could connect to the quick disconnect propane fitting. I dug out my Sewer Solution and set it up so I could use it to dump at home into my septic. Removed the factory whiteboard from inside the camper. Set up a 12V submersible water pump and connector so that I could easily plug my shower drain and pump it to a bucket or the toilet when dry camping.
I've got a few more things on my to-do list, the main one being to replace one fo the cabinet panels in my bathroom so I can have access to a bunch of empty space behind it. I plan to use a sliding door and shelves.. but that'll be a while.

No more cookware slipping across and off the burners, and more space to move cookware across the stovetop. A few modifications to the grates made it fit well and still able to close the glass cover lid.

Made my appliance snob wife very happy!🥰

Ciao a tutti. My apologies for not getting back to the rest of you that have inquired about the install...I’ve been on aperitivo time.[emoji41]I’ll reach out to you soon! Ciao!

4Riviteers, please put me on the PM list also. I let my DW look at the range top grill, she liked it but didn’t think it was necessary. I like it more than she does.

A fan for the trailer
Installed a Sirocco II fan today. Placed it the bedroom of our 2018 27FBQ Flying Cloud just above the thermostat. I removed the light switch and connected to the existing Wago 221 connectors. Struggled a bit fishing wire down through the wall, but with my wife helping and using a endoscope we managed. I think the fan will be a very nice improvement. I can swivel it all around on the gimbal mount and even direct it down the hall towards the galley. The pictures below illustrate how I wired into the light switch and show the fan in various positions. Yes, I realize I put 2 wires under one Wago connector, but the connection felt secure and I do plan to replace with a 3 conductor unit right away. I also disconnected both batteries before wiring.

The wife and I were just talking about the need for a fan of some sort to circulate air. Our 30RBQ has the closets on either side of the bed, so even when it’s cool enough to not need the air running we tend to wake up hot because the air stagnates in that bed “cubby”.
I’ll definitely be stealing your idea.

That's a great idea.
I'm also curious on your TV mount. Is it original? We would really like the TV in the bedroom instead of the dinette. Any closer pictures would be appreciated.
