Had a good project morning. I installed a self designed galley counter top extension from a small shelf I picked from Lowes and a couple of folding shelf supports from Amazon. Had a 4 inch piece of shelving cut off left over. It looked like it was just about the right size for a small shelf by the bed. Made up a small brace from another piece of scrap and atteched them to the outside of the shower wall with heavy duty double sided tape. It is perfect for a place to put my glasses and Kindle.

Picked up a pair of those Nick & Nora pink flamingo / airstream pajamas at Target for DW. As Time2Play pointed out, they are on sale for $23.99 at target.com. So I told the cashier about the sale price on target.com and he promptly matched it, no questions asked.

I got an itch for wanting some stainless upgrades for exterior covers etc - holy cow - I thought they'd be made of silver for that price - as such it is not what I bought for my airstream today but what I wanted to but then didn't

Um, not silver...more like platinum. Over the course of 4 years I've got all mine done, except the stainless belly wrap compartments. They're really high, and I had just removed mine and repainted. Next time they rust.......

So is the common wisdom simply to order direct from AS store? I may ask for one per year at this point till all are done

180 for potable water door - why?!?! - and yet that door along with the shower door are just not attractive to me

I don't know anywhere else to get them. The water door is a lot of hand work when you see it. A lot of precision welding to seal the corners. Still high, but pretty skilled, low volume hand work.

They refer to them as "utility compartment" and "water compartment"...AND NOW YOU MADE ME LOOK! I think they have come way down in price. I'm pretty sure they were $200ish when thy first came out a couple years ago.
hmmmm.....$149 and $159.......

A new Tow Vehicle ???
This a 1983 London Aire Class C all Aluminum, including all the roof panels.
Just couldn't pass this one up and it does have a class IV or V receiver.
I may just look freaking awesome all polished pulling a little Bambi. I think I will refrain from pulling my 34'.

This mornings project was a UV/waterproof cover for my new jack. Cut the leg out of an old yellow bluewater rain suit, double hemmed the big end over and coated all stitching with seam sealer.

PeterH - after a weekend of towing our 25, let me say that the creature comforts and power (after several EPA mandated upgrades on the former) on the Silverado really outdistance our previous Ram.

PharmGeek - the stainless covers are worth the cost ... justify, justify ... as they are the only easily user replaceable non-plastic ball game in town!

Can I not just use a hammer and some duck tape and a very hot pan with metal in it and come up with the same thing?

Sure ... if you want to stay with aluminum instead of stainless, just get a baking pan ...

Target - A/S PJs - It worked for me, too. SilverMoon and Pharmgeek mentoring allowed me to get the sale price, by just mentioning it. I didn't actually go to the Target website, just mentioned the price you quoted and they rang it up. Hope they don't try to make the difference by selling my credit card information...
