I cannot take full credit for the fan idea. Many others on this forum have used this same model. As for the TV mount, yes, it is original. I will send you a picture or 2 of it this evening.

Thanks for the comments.

If you’re looking for a secure and flexible way to mount a television, we’ve been pleased with this one. Super sturdy when traveling and articulates to excellent viewing angles.

I'm worried about running the screws into the shower. Where did you mount yours?

Here’s a few pictures of the TV mount in bedroom. It is standard for our model and I do not know who makes it. No complaints though. It works just fine.

I don’t pretend to know how all the different AS models are built, but between the shower molded cabinet and the bedroom wall at the height you’d mount a TV is several inches of space.

It’s pretty easy in my International to remove the screws that secure the bedroom walls and see what it behind them.

Thanks for the info. I have an earlier, cheaper Atwood cooktop that those you modified unfortunately won’t fit in recess of top where the grates go. I sure wish they would come out with the cast replacements for that top. Only alternative is to buy a complete new cooktop with the solid grate which I can’t justify, yet.

Match made in heaven! Cast iron burner reducer trivet to allow my moka pot to be more stable on top of our new grate modification. I know, but it’s the little things that make the big difference for us.[emoji4]Click image for larger version

Bus-Kote and 3M 4412N Sealant Tape

Used 3M 4412N Sealant Tape around the fans and then painted the roof with Bus-Kote. Should not have to do that again for 10 or 20 years... by which point, someone younger will have to do it.

First pic is the taping/sealing. Second is the finished product.

A new louver

A new louver.

Cut out a hole in the air distribution box on the original Duo Therm and inserted https://www.etrailer.com/RV_Vents_an...10-3359vp.html I cut the hole directly under where the fan blows through.

Sprayed some bleach on the cover while it was off too.

Now when I'm working at the dining table I can point the register directly on me, really helps on a hot afternoon.

Added Wisper Quiet 6” 12vdc fridge coil fan for hot days while boondocking. (Had 2 previously on 120v).

Also taped some Reflectix Keeping air gap to sun shield the fridge stack when in direct sun. Seems to keep Fridge 10F cooler with no fans going.

Did two things this week. First was replace the outside shower. I’ve never been happy with the one from the factor, so it was time to put in one that I liked. I went with the Dura faucet.

Two weeks ago while wrangling our sewer hose, I cracked it. You wouldn’t think there’s much to those, but I decided to go with the Lippert waste master, which is a different type of system. It uses a cam lock to hold things on, instead of the traditional RV hose lock system. This requires you to cut off the three studs on the Airstream’s sewer hose attachment and then glue on the new cam lock system. The hose is very beefy, so I’m hoping that it holds up.

Repaired my roof Antenna, it was "sealed" shut by the previous owner, and then I took it off, cleaned it up, replaced the broken coax cable from just below the roof to the actual antenna head, then replaced the head with a King Jack, lastly removed the old booster, installed a splitter and the new booster in the wall.Click image for larger version

Two quick notes for those upgrading to Samsung 32" TV : 1) My TV bracket had to be modified (cut) to make room for some electrical connections.; 2) As noted elsewhere you have to add a digital to analog converter (optical) to use the overhead speakers, but what wasn't mentioned was you have to "tell" the "smart" TV audio setting to PCM and not Dolby or Bit streaming to get the overhead speakers to work.

Not today but very resent, We got our Airstream Certificate of Name registry medallion, our "Welcome" package from WBCCI and our "welcome" package from our local state chapter that we chose to join also. We were lucky enough to be able to get the club number that was already on our trailer when we bought it.

On Friday, I purchased a Fan-Tastic Vent to replace the forward fan-less vent on my 1949 Liner.
