What Are These Rivets For?

Hi everyone...

I was wondering what the four (4) rivets circled in the picture below are for. Two are located just above and two are just below the rear side marker clearance lights. I circled them in blue/green in the picture (you may have to increase the size of the pic to see them). What's behind the exterior panel right where these rivets are? Does anyone have an interior shot showing what these rivets do?

Those should hold braces so the segment won't distort.
