Water pressure regulator...from factory?

Does my trailer have an "internal" water pressure regulator? 2002 Classic--do all Airstreams have this feature?

Hi all,

My 67 Tradewind does for sure. I haven't noticed on the 83 Excella, just had it a few months. The one in the 67 is an ordinary hardward store item. The landlord in the park where I am located has them on every spot, just like my internal one.

Guess it is because of my electricity problems--needed a volt meter--and warnings about plumbing breaks, but I am becoming more aware of avoiding chance

Why does Airstream not have a voltmeter on the hood gauges...we have propane, water, batteries, holding tanks (never work)......why not a voltmeter from/for shore power?????

I would also like a water pressure reading

Rivet Good Ideas

All excellent suggestions. I was just looking at volt meter this week!

kistler, yes your unit has a built in water pressure regulator/reducer.

you can read about it in the owners manual.

IF you want a specific in line external gauge that will read out water pressure...

camping world sells them, along with the ac volt meters...

cheers

Thanks 2air,

Duh, I should have noticed the “Edit” button. Cleared up now.

By the way, love your avatar. What’s the logo on your hat?

It does but you should also be using or at least checking campground water pressure before hooking the water hose up to your trailer. I leave my adjustable regulator hooked up just in case.
