Vin and model info for my 55

Im having trouble finding my model info online. My pink slip says 1955 airstream and VIN states C340903177D (tag next to door is 6594) and the length is 26' with a tandem axle. Im in the beginning stages of restoring and would like to know what I have. It still has the original black/yellow Ca plate and I have kept it registered. It also has the Whale tail back on it with the rear lower door into trailer, probably for spare tire. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Going from the serial number and the tandem axles, either a very late '55 or very early '56 California made Overlander/Cruiser.

Your serial number is 6594.
Not sure where they came up with all those other numbers. Anything older than 1980 does not have a VIN.

Thank you very much. I know it has been in Ca for a long time. The Ca title I got was pretty old and it having the original Black/Yellow lic plate as well. As far as the VIN it may be just something they input in a long time ago from the employees at DMV and may have added or not got the correct numbers and just put it in. I have had a couple titles with incorrect numbers before on other vintage 50's scooters I have. I got the trailer from a Artist in Napa Valley that he had on his property, about 10 years ago. Thanks again
