I had it easy compared to some of you.
I think it would be fun to start a "wear your ribbons on Vets Day"
campaign.
Have all the vets around the Nation wear their ribbons to work.
After 26 years I found out that I was entitled to wear 2 more that I never recieved. There was a place in St. Louis you could write to to get replacements for any you were ever issued.
It took about 16 months from the time I sent them the form.
But they came in the mail one day...
4 of them.

Thank you all for what you did.

My husband was a seabee 1st lieutenant in Viet Nam at An Wah (?-tet offensive?? am I remembering right?). And then a great 19 months in Scicly. (he holds no rancor towards Kerry).

My biggest peeve is his large company (31 yrs) does not give him the day off for Vet's Day, or recognises his (or any vet's) service in any way. It bothers me that a 20 yr old bank clerk gets the day off, but he doesn't. Does this bother anyone else?
