Upgrading Airstream Bambi

Hello,

Due to a growing family we are looking to sell our 2000 19' Bambi to a 25' Safari. The only problem is we are having a tough time trying to price it. Overall, it's in really great shape except for some slight peeling of the clearcoat on the rear of the trailer. We tried the NADA guide, but it seemed way too low at 4k-5k. Does anyone know a ballpark range that would be appropriate for this trailer. We're looking to sell it ourselves.

Thank you

$15K to $20K. Bambis are the cult within the cult and hard to find used.

I bought my first AS used form the Airstream Forum classifieds. I also sold it on the classifieds and upgraded to a new 2015. I've found the classifieds to be a good resource. Of course if there aren't any like yours for sale right now....

Your nearest AS dealer (Windish RV in the Denver area?) has a kind of AS blue book on-line that they can use to give you a price estimate. Of course, your Bambi's value may vary depending upon its condition. I imagine this book value is the same around the US, but I couldn't swear to it.

I don't know the economics of selling it yourself vs. to a dealer, but if you are planning on buying your next AS through a dealer they may be willing to give you more on the trade-in or less for the new one as they have a margin both ways.
