Up switch on the tongue jack is intermittent

Is the switch DIY replaceable or would I have to take it to an Airstream dealer? From where can I get the parts? I am somewhat handy. Thanks.

I havnt seen which Jack you have but i would be pretty sure the switch is nothing special,you should be able to get one at any good hardware or auto parts store.If it is like the others i have seen it will be a double pole double throw momentary switch with 6 terminals on the back>just be careful to not mix up the wires.

I've changed several of them. The biggest problem is getting the exact same switch for physical mounting purposes.

I've had luck in the past by taking the make and number off the switch, and then do a search on the net. I've not had much satisfaction by going to the jack manufacturer.

When I find them, I usually buy two.
