Bought a 33' Classic a few months ago....love my wife...love to snuggle...love the queen bed...no complaints...each night sleeping with her is a blessing (even if she hogs the blanket)

Twins vs Queen

We have the 2017 international 30.
We like the twins for all of the above thoughts.
The outside and inside storage and the cabinets.
With the hallway open to the nightstand it makes it look much more spacious.
The queen comes with one center window, think of the one center window with the panoramic windows in the front. The twin comes with panoramic windows like the front. Almost 6 extra feet of windows!
With the beds made it becomes a second living room and gives you another Sitting area that is very comfortable.
😎

I'm not as good as I once was, but I'm as good once as I ever was...or so I've been told.😂🙏

All of the main points are mentioned except, it offers a more flexible travel arrangement - traveling with wife is understood (things we used to do in the back seat of the car obviously can still be done on the twin beds - romance is not a problem) flexibility....hunting/fishing excursions with grown son or daughter (could be very awkward) or another grown adult. Increased inside and outside storage, night time bathroom trips, the bonus is a full-size Extra Long Twin bed, vs a RV Short Queen that you have to scoot out over the end of the bed for that night time nature call.

Not Quite
He changed my lyrics some.

I ain't as good as I once was
I got a few years on me now
But there was a time
Back in my prime
When I could really lay it down.

We have a 22' vintage with twins...agree with "a more flexible travel arrangement".

At the sake of being Crass

Its hard to have sex in twin beds.
I also compliment Airstream for making the bed just the right height.

Good gracious, we enjoy our RV trips.

we switched

As a main part of renovating our 1985 rear twin model, we bought the IKEA full size lift up bed (used the steel frame and famous IKEA slats and built a plywood frame). This allows us to warm each other up while sleeping. I can still get up to use the potty at night. Since the two side storage access doors are still there, I will insulate them with rigid foam; I will be covering the lower walls with upholstery fabric (pleather) anyway. If hubby needs to get up he can always wake me or crawl over me.

We started airstream life with a 25 Flying Cloud with twins - it seemed to open up the floor plan better on the 25. When we up’d to a 28 International, we went back to a queen size bed and find it more comfortable (for us) than the twins. My wife also really likes the storage under the bed - easier to get in and out of...

We began our AS experience with a Nest.

We moved to a FC 25FB.

We now have an International 28ft. Twin. The extra 3 ft. is nice but the extra 4 ft or so, you gain by having the twins is the real game changer. It's like an additional room.

BTW the twins are super comfortable, and I'm 6'1" and the beds are 5-6" longer than I am. We couldn't be happier with the switch.

I've had twin, double, and queen in Airstreams I've owned.
In the twin, I always felt I was on the edge. (I'm a bigger/taller than average man) Twin beds are always against the wall, which can be uncomfortable to be near during cold weather.
In the double, there was barely enough room for two to sleep, but there were advantages :-0
I prefer the queen. There is plenty of room to sleep comfortably, I can roll over, wife is way over there on the other side, but there are advantages :-)

If you stay with the Airstreaming lifestyle long enough you may find that having fun Streaming is less stressful with better results than the questionable outcomes of 'eldersex', with no lingering cramping or 'how it used to be' thoughts. 😘
