For the Excella, I'm thinking of "SLVR TOAD." Has anybody heard of that one?

OT, I saw a Corvette once that the tag said, "IXLR8." I just nodded -- just another of us strange folks in Georgia.

I call mine "Tin Lizzy". My wife's name is Elizabeth thus the association with Lizzy. Easy enough...

So, I've now read all thirteen pages of replies to this posting and have yet to find the name that a co-worker of mine came up with.

To tell you the truth, I'm REALLY surprised that no one else has claimed it since it seems sooooo obvious............

........WALLY

What do you think? I am remined of Wally Byam, but it also conjures up memories of Walley World (and that goofy moose) from National Lampoon's Vacation.

We LOVE "Wally" for a name for an Airstream. It just also happens to be the name of the most wonderful and beloved Weimaraner in the world who allows us to live with him May your travels with your Wally take you safely down beautiful roads to marvelous places!

Well I figured that as a Christian guy with a wry sense of humor that this old funeral coach has had more prayers said in it than most motorhomes short of maybe Chaplain Kent's, so I gave it the nickname "Prayer Wagon."

Now that I'm about to install the new nose art logos on the front quarter panels the name "Airstream One" has been used a lot. The new logo is a spoof on the Presidential seal.

If this image does not load just go to the photo section and it's up there.

As a default we often refer to it as simply, "da bus."

Thumbs up Does your Airstream have a NAME?

Seems many of us name their Airstream Trailer or Motorhomes. I am curious to see what name you came up with and why if its not obvious.
Lets keep the answers short to make the thread readable...Thanks

Oh yeah- mine is not named.......yet.

Mine is the Silver Queen or Queen of the Silver Dollar depending on how much I have spent on it that month The truck that pulls it is Red Ryder. We have always had names for our vehicles for some reason.

Our "new" Overlander is so much larger than our previous coach, we named it Goliath.

Condoluminum...

After our flimsy SOB Nomad model, which was aptly named "Casa de Cardboard" we thought of Casa de Beercan.. Decided against it, and our son came up with Condoluminum instead.. Much classier, and fits better...

My son calls our airstream The Millennium Falcon, because something always needs fixing.

Ours is Gypsy, short for Gypsy Wagon. Our TV license plate reads 2 GYPZS. You might check the past files for a really entertaining and long thread from a couple of years ago that recorded LOTS of Airstream names. I cannot recall the title of the thread, but it's worth finding and reading or maybe adding to this one
