Toilet, etc
While researching for information concerning the "Saniware" toilet, I stumbled upon a most interesting RV story.
I believe that a picture of this RV has "air'd" once before on this forum but, certainly not in this great a details. For pictures of this RV called the Ultra Van
I found it most unique this RV had nearly the very same toilet in it as in my 64GT..
For a link to the story..Be sure you read just how it was built~!
Ultra Van
Then, after you've read that..
Be prepared for the 505 page owners tech tip.
Excellent info on the ole fashion water pumps, Refrig, Gas Stoves, water heater and, of course the toilet. Plus great info on black water tank and, how to repair same`!~(This is in .pdf format.)
Ultr Van Tech Tip
For those who use Mac, click on the 3rd link listedMac Version:Ultra Van.
BTW, I did find out what the lil motor was used for mounted on the backside of my Toilet..
ciao

MaShep,
That's the one..
You got to know, that the "black" color doesn't do anything for me.
I do admire the aircraft design construction technique used.
Apparently, no rotten floors in these Ultra Van
Thanks again..~!~

There's a couple of those in Joshua Tree. I always wondered what they were.

mtpalms,
That's kewl~
I'd give anything to see what they look like underneath the floor..
Given that these units are in the same era as the mid 60's AS.
Plus,Airstream doesn't really have much in the way of manuals until after '65 models..I'm finding so much of the info that the UltraVan owners put together extremely helpful~!
I had once considered replacing the toilet in my 64GT but, after reading about it's "Plus" in their TechTips, I've changed my mind`!
Like part numbers for the Saniware toilet in my 64GT are listed.
In fact, I've found so much useful information listed, I'm gonna burn a CD copy of it's 505 page for future references~
ciao
