"Cwappy Campo"
That is kinda funny, and much better than the given name on the movie 'RV'
Names are most important in all things...
Would you want a car called G4 ? or Gran Prix ?
Mustang? or Edsel ?
I will not even vaction in a place without a cool name, as my state names its Gulf Coast...'Gulf Shores' whooo weee...
I'd much rather 'Cyrstal Springs' without ever being there.

Our is quiite simply called "Henri", after the original owner. Is that the OO?
Anyway, as others have said, there are several other names used, particularly when I bash my head on something.
It's not easy being 5'17" tall!

Am I over thinking this just a bit?? What do you think

L&R,
I don't think you are over thinking it at all. I think Artemis is an excellent name for your Airstream.

We had a tough time naming our motorhome
and the kids were stuck on anything that reminded them of the movie "RV" and the "Big Rolling Turd" like the Silve Turd, the Big Rolling Silver Turd, etc. You get the idea. Needless to say, that did not work. Then the boys moved on to all sorts of weapon or bullet related names. That didn't fly with me, either. Hubby finally came up with A Silver Lining and I call her Silvie for short. The "silver lining" has many meanings to us and I like that it is both symbolic and obvious at the same time. The boys do not like it and refuse to call her anything. But, since I am the one doing the cleaning, packing, stressing, etc. in Silvie, I can call her what I want.
We had the same issue with our cottage in Nova Scotia. It had to have a name, but it seemed like all the good, clever ones were taken. My mom came up with A Breath of Fresh Air and we loved it. It works great for advertiving, too, since it puts it in the beginning of alphabetical listings.
Anyway, that's our Silvie's story. Good luck with the naming. It sure beats calling it the camper, coach, truck, that thing out there...

"Le Petit Chateau Argent"
Hi, we decided that we wanted a French theme. Something different. Seems that most Airstreams have Palm Trees, Pink Pelicans [Flamingos] Surfer, or Beach themes. We thought that "The Small Silver Castle" would be neat. So "Le Petit Chateau Argent" is what we ended up with. We haven't put this name on our trailer and it is mostly referred to as "The Airstream." After about three years of ownership we finally decorated our livingroom and kitchen with French looking items. Later we decorated the bedroom with an Asian theme because we couldn't find any small, light weight, French items to use in the bedroom.
