I take my lunch hour in the trailer when I take it to work with me to get an early start on the weekend.

Time you spend in your Airstream?

My wife has set up a work office....

She has been cooking me a couple meals a day in it while she works. The last few days she has spent a lot of time in the trailer, and I have spent a fair amount of time.

With our Kite Festivals, Street Rod events, Vintage Trailer events, Airstream Rallys and other trips, we spend about 200 nights a year in our Airstreams.

I'm jealous. I wish we could spend all of 'em in the Airstream.

With Irish Festivals, actual vacations and grandchildren camping adventures, we will have 160 nites this year. I love every single one. Just got home today from 4 night boon dock weekend in Fairfield, Ct. My battery was a champ, with plenty of power and some to spare.

Do the evenings you spend sitting in it in your driveway count?

I love to just go out and sit in it, remembering the trips we've had or have planned. I just like to BE in it.

I'm not counting time spent in it at home- only nights spent in it on trips, but the title of the thread is "time you spend in your Airstream"...

In the pass 12 months I have pulled the Streamline 6630 miles and slept in it 40 nights. The two kids, ages 10 and 6 now, have logged 5000 miles and 36 nights of my totals. The DW has managed 2195 miles and 20 nights with us. Total of 5 trips. But we do have another big Colorado trip in about a week.

Since May 25th, we've been in the AS every nite and we see no end in sight. Even if we go home for a week or two, we park the AS at the local state park and I commute to work for a few days. It's just easier that way then taking the AS 1 hour away to where it is stored, emptying the refrigerator, etc. The $17.00 a nite for campground fees makes it too easy to do this. Plus the campground is on the Illinois River with a beautiful view from our dining table. Can't get that view at home. I just retired but pick up a few days here and there if and when they call and if it is convenient for us. We're planning on leaving for the south around October 1, first driving the Natchez Trace and ending up at Gulf Shores for the Shrimp Festival. After that, who knows. The goal is not to see another snowflake in our life.

Like some others who have posted, I am limited by work. So far this year 4 nights camped, several days working on it in the warehouse! I have reservations for a week in St. Augustine starting next week. My goal is to use it as a "summer home" when I retire from my first career!

Average, 2.5 weeks per year so far in two years ownership. Not enough.
