Those pesky lady bugs

This time of year the lady bugs in Missouri want to come inside. We've tried many different things over the years, but a couple of years ago we bought a small wet/dry vacuum which we named Bug Suck to try to vacuum them up when they came inside. It worked, but most of the bugs were still alive and some of them would manage to crawl back out of Bug Suck. This year I tried something different. I took the filter off and put a bit of water in the bottom of the vacuum. Now, when I suck up the bugs they are thrown into the water and that's the end of them.
