We have found our Airstream, a 1975 Tradewind. We traveled 300 miles from home to pick her up. On the return 300 we were lucky to get home when we did. The trees were coating up with freezing rain. The next morning Cupcake and the Suburban were incased in ice. We are greatful everything went well and are thinking about all the places we'd like to go and things we'd like to see.

Thank you Flying Cloud and Pap for the nice thoughts. I am very happy to report we are not the fire damage A/S you speak of. This is our first trailer.
And Rog, thanks for the welcoming words also. We are more then fellow Michiganians - we are neighbors! I know where you are from your classified ad and we are SagTwsp. Small world, eh?
We hope to take our own pics when the weather is better and will post them in members photos.

Yep Suz, small world indeed. You just bought an AS and I just sold mine today. . A fellow from Colorado bought it sight unseen except for my website photos, and no squabble on the price. It hasn't left the driveway yet but I'm starting to feel naked without it.
Now I need to hunker down and get serious about finding a nice little Bambi or other small AS before the Michigan summer arrives, all 2 weeks of it.
Glad you made the sale and can start your replacement search. Hurry though, when summer gets here it will, I predict, arrive with a vengence (ie: 67* one day and suprise - 90* . Another summer with no spring
