Thanks everyone for going along with me to the dealer

I bought my first Airstream 2 years ago, 19' Serenity. I had never been on the forum. I just traded in for a 2012 27' FB Twin and this forum helped me every bit of the way.

Are twins right for me? Search the forum.
Dealership's reputation? Forum
27 vs 25, Ultra Leather, Awning package, every decision made from reading posts on the forum.

I'm ridiculously happy, no regrets this time...so far. Just want to thank the end-all Airstream resource and its contributors.

btw, big props to Mark Henrich of George Sutton RV in OR. I drove 5 hours, passing two Airstream dealerships (one of them 20 minutes from my house), from Seattle to Eugene to buy from Mark. What a great experience.

That's great to hear! Your second Airstream always fits better than the first!

That's what we did, bought 20'er, enjoyed everything about it and learned what we really needed.

Got the 25 and couldn't be happier.

Hi, I passed about four California dealers and took two days to get to George Sutton RV in Eugene, Oregon to buy my new trailer. [actually to pick up our trailer that was ordered months before]

Yes, they opened a huge dealership in our area, owned by an even bigger car dealership. And run like a car dealership too. I won't even get started with how bad this place is, but i bought my first there and will only deal with George Sutton's from now on.

Wow! Congrats on the new trailer! I remember your earlier concerns about the 19's size. Sounds like you got a lovely upgrade there.

Thanks Tom. Yeah, we really tried to live with our decision and we did enjoy the small trailer but the constraints of 19 started to add up.

Thanks Monica, your trailer and awesome pictures sparked my interest going with twins. Definitely the right set up for us.

Talking Yea, Sutton RV

I too dealt with Mark and he is just great. Infact the whole dealership is wonderful, including the boss! The employees actually like working there and it shows. Even after they had my money, a mechanic came over to Hermitage Park where Mark reccomended we go for our shake down. Mark came later as he was invited for a refreshment, but he declined until he had walked through the trailer with us, making certain we understood how everything worked -then he had a refreshment. We called him from the road with a question which he easily answered. This obviously is after having paid for the trailer. Not too many places offer that type of customer service -plus Mark knows alot about Airstreams, having owned one since the age of twenty-one. When spending alot of money not only does it haveto be fun, but it must be win win. Mark and the owner certainly provided it all. I've never regretted having dealt with Sutton RV.

A salesman who actually knows his product is worth his weight in gold! I've mentioned before that there is a large RV dealership about an hour away from us that we've visited a time or two when we were just looking. Each time we were there we talked with a different person, and none of them knew much about the trailers they were selling. Then, at an open house, we met Blair Prestin. He not only knows Airstreams, he actually lives in one. Now, when we visit that dealership, we talk only to Blair.
