Tank pipes

I use the Sewer Waste Lippart system. I find it is much easier for my hands to use. I noticed this weekend when I went to unlatch the top hook, it would not go up all the way. My black and grey tank pipes were higher up. I did not hit anything on way to campground, but they were almost snagged up by about 3/4”. I gently pulled down enough to open the latch. Has anyone else run into this? I have a 2017 25’ rbt fc. I do not in anyway want to break the pipes. I have used this system 5 years without incident. I do find the pipes are so much lower that sob trailers, I rarely find a sewer hole that is actually lower than the the pipes . Thank you for any insite if anyone has found the whole area seem to move a bit,
