Suggestion for Andy at Inland
Andy
As you are going to Jackson Center for 2 days, I have a thought for you. Enlighten the powers that be in engineering and quality to the existence of this site, specifically the 2003 pages. It might make some interesting reading for them. I read through John's messages as they were posted, skimmed through them this evening. He says many times he likes his trailer. His complaints seem legitimate, and he does have fixes for many of them. Making the knife block from the end of the night stand is pretty ingenious.
rbyrnesanmateo has a laundry list the factory should be interested in, and there are other posts that seem less than enthusiastic mainly because of quality.
I would assume because of the the price of a new Airstream, it is a once in a lifetime purchase for most people. Some probably have had older ones in the past and fell in love with them. When you purchase a new one you expect the best, and it is dissapointing to see serious damage done during assembly still present at delivery. It is more ridiculous to hear of some of the design flaws that have made it into production.
So I vote you tell the factory of these pages, they have a rolling test bed here, and a vested interest in the owner's opinions and problems.
