Exclamation Stolen Airstream

I found this in the Phoenix Craigslist. It happened about a month ago. I emailed the person with the stolen trailer and he added the following:
It's a 1968 Ambassador
28 feet long
Double axels
Pry marks on the door from a previous break in attempt.

Quote:
Pls help to recover my stolen 1968 Air Stream Trailer. It was stolen from my rental property on 19th Ave. and Roeser Rd. this past weekend. I'll give a reward for any information that leads to its recovery. Call me at 602.703.0196 with any information on someone accquiring, selling, etc. an old Air Stream. THANKS......
If anyone sees this trailer, please contact the phone number in the text.

I am in no way connected to the owner or the thieves.

Richard, I'm glad you clarified that about the thieves.

In all seriousness, That's a good post, I hope someone here sees and takes appropriate action. I obviously would wish for the same if mine were stolen.

Red or Blue numbers would make recovery easier. I better put mine on.

Did the person provide additional information such as vin#, photos, or any other identifying features (besides the door pry marks)?

A recent stolen Airstream

Just a heads up! I guess we have to pay constant attention to securing the Airstream. For the second time in a month I have come across a stolen....and luckily, recovered Airstream. Both were stolen in the Dallas / Ft. Worth area. Both were 2009 models. More info when I can get it....but, in the interim....lock 'em up. By the way, both of these were stolen from "locked" storage facilities.

I'd "Boot" mine if it were stored anywhere out of my direct line of sight.

I have a neighbor who has two Rotweilers - he claims that any thief will have to have one or both of his Rotties "surgically removed from his buttocks". Seems like a good system to me.

I don't recall which member's gallery had an Arizona-backdrop photo of their Airstream with a nice porch for when it was parked. And there was a heavy chain and padlock through the two alloy wheels. Force 'em to make a helluva racket if they want to haul away our babies!

[Don't begin to know how to trace that member's picture. But I morphed another one of his photos oh-so-long ago.. Arizona folks?]
