Spring has Arrived Here, Can't Be Long for the Rest of You Guys

Well, spring arrived in Northern California this past weekend. Weather was unbelieveable! It was glorious to be out in the A/S- truely a natural high. It was 85 degrees today and not a cloud in sight. My A/S is parked at a coast campground right now waiting for me to play hookey tomorrow.

So don't despair Airstreamers, spring is on the way!!! It won't be long now til you're loading up and heading out.

I would attach a picture but I don't want to rub it in.

We are heading out to Moab, Utah in about 2 weeks. Looking forward to being on the road and all! We've definitely had the Spring bug bite, just need to fix a few little headaches first.

spring

Southern Calif. has got amazing weather right now too. Been dialing in a few details on the AS, and looking forward to getting out. Weekend after next, going to Joshua Tree National Park...a place I highly recomend. One of the nicest National Parks (as far as desserts go) in the country. Death Valley is on the tick list for spring break....

Whoooohooooo!!

For the midwest area, Chicago has also had some fair weather...for the area....as soon as it starts to get above 32 degrees regularly, I am all on de-winterizing the new Twinkie!

Until then, she sits in drydock!

I do!

The plum trees out front were slowly blooming ... then the weather hit the mid-70s a couple of days ago .. and mid-80s today. They just seemed to burst overnight.

I snapped a few shots of the flowers for those of you still scraping ice off your windshields.

Spring is trying to win in Central Kentucky. We've been up to the high 60's and even hit the 70's a couple of times late last week. Dipped back into the 30's again, with a chance of snow showers forecasted for this morning (never happened). Popped back to near 50 out there right now.

But, I've seen it snow on Derby Day before (1st Saturday of May) so, we're not out of the woods yet.

You poor people...today in Chicago it is suppose to reach a high of 83 degrees and the palm trees here are just now bearing coconuts.....
