Sitting during winter

What's best for winter storage? I winterized everything Blew the lines out etc.. However, our AS sits in the driveway. So I keep it plugged in. I keep an eye on the batteries and hook them up to the charger from time to time as the parasites drain them. I figured I would set the thermostat to 40 just in case. I was out of town for about 14 days and today I noticed the propane tanks are empty. I did not think the furnace would run that much. Guess I was wrong. Should I just leave it off and feel ok about it?

Thanks,

Warren

If you winterized it, leave the heat off. It will be fine.

If it is winterized there is no need to heat the trailer.

Should I expect that amount of time to empty the propane tanks? I know it depends on how much it runs so just looking for a ballpark plausibility.

thanks!

Really just no reason to run the furnace at all if all the lines (traps, etc) are blown out and, in your location, filled with RV antifreeze ("pink stuff").
