Replacing grey and black valve assembly

I had my first blowout this weekend--Safari LS 2006 20'. The tire managed to sheer off my grey water line from the tank -- valve assembly is somewhere on the road still I imagine. The black water line was severed just below the valve (thankfully). I know I will need a new assembly for both tanks but I'm curious as to how I even start with the grey water line as there is no "lip" to connect the line to? I don't even have a good picture or diagram to see what should be coming out of the grey water tank. Is this going to require a new "lip" to be fabricated and welded on or am I over thinking it?
I'm relatively new to this game--roughly 4 years with the same camper. This was my first blowout and I must say I learned a few things for sure about having all your tire changing tools handy and in ONE PLACE. I also learned how important it is to have a good sway bar. That seemed to make all the difference as with a single axle I thought I may get pulled all over the road.

Thanks!
