Last November I let members know we lost our '73 Trade wind to a fire in the campground storage area. Then a week later we found a
1968 International for sale and purchased it.
So now I am happyto report after 6 1/2 months we have received a check from Farmers Insurance. The check was fair, around 4K. As the investigation was for arson, I knew it would take a long time. I think it helped to send a picture of the trailer before the fire so the adjuster could see this was a nice looking Airstream. I am sure it could have been much less, but we have been with Farmers a long time, and they worked with us.
Tomorrow, we go and open up the new one and get it ready for travle. I will take pictures and post them. I have only one of the 73. I feel so bad. the only ones of the Tradewind I took were messed up in the processing. Oh, I have never uploaded pictures, I have to figure it out.
