pardon the intrusion

I don't mean to go off topic but I need the help of some nice people that see lots of airstreams... I've seen the style that I want to purchase but I'm not sure what it was so I don't know what ads to look for.



what year and model Airstream trailers came with 3 windows (1 large rectangular, and 2 oblong; 1above and 1 below). The pictures I've seen show 1 set on the front-side (near the door) and a double set on the back-side (opposite the door).

I believe this configuration is on Overlanders, Ambassadors and Sovereigns (maybe others but Overlanders, Ambassadors and Sovereigns are what I'm most interested in) but I don't know the years.

Please help, or correct... whatever is appropriate.

One other thing, it looks like either you or the mods might have cleaned it up, but you really only need to post your question in one place. I found this initial thread through the portal, and if you make the same post in multiple forums, it will really crowd the portal. Just a bit of message board house-keeping, nothing to worry about, the folks around here are very friendly.

As it turns out, this is on the WBCCI forum, which is probably not the proper place, but if you ask a moderator to move it, the general Overlander or Ambassador or Sovereign forum might be the most appropriate forum.

Anyway, I hope the link to RJ's archives will help you with your search to find your favorite Airstream.
