I own a 1958 Caravanner, and I am looking for an original owners manual. Although my camper is nothing like the original, I still would like to find that last piece of originality. Does anyone have one or a really good copy of one. If you have one that you really do not want to part with, I am willing to get it copied and return it to you.

Airstream didn't begin printing Owners' Manuals until 1964, and that manual by today's standards is quite rudimentary. In 1958, the new owner would have received a manilla envelope containing manuals and literature for components installed in the trailer. You might find a PDF file at airstream.com (service tab) containing sales literature for your trailer.

That is what I figured. I have looked around and I saw a picture of one once, when I first got my trailer. I too have a envelope with a collection of manuals for all of the accessories that are installed in my trailer.
