Thumbs up Our Airstream Wedding!!

Good day Folks! I haven't had time to be on the forum as much as I would like, but hopefully this post will show why! I recently got married to the most wonderful woman on March 4th, 2012 (I have to start repeating that so I remember! ) Long story short I restored the '54 Airstream with my brother Chris, to move closer to her and now we are both full-timing in it! I have a thread started in the Cruiser forum, but thought this announcement was more community minded! Check out our blog for the Airstream related pictures and the rest of the story: www.airstreamfever.com

It has been wonderful living in it for 10 months or so. Looking forward to the years ahead with it. We are very thankful to the great community here on the forum and wider Airstream community.

Here are a few pictures for the blog weary...

How wonderful!!! What a great story, and beautiful pictures! Will you name your future children after various airstream models? I tease my husband that we really should have gone that route. (Safari, Cruiser, and Classic all sound like great celebrity baby names. flying Cloud might be pushing it a little.) congratulations!!!

Congratulations!
Only, I believe that my wife is actually "the" most wonderful woman.
She tolerates me and she finally relented and allowed us to purchase our Airstream.
A quick story. For our honeymoon we took my 32' sailboat to Maine for a three week cruise. As we left Newport with our families watching, they said "if they can survive three weeks in that space they can survive anything...15 years later we're still at it.
Many happy years to you and your wife!
Bruce

If your wife is so wonderful why are you full timing with your brother?

Ok, I read that wrong. Congratulations! We celebrate our 35th next month and are proud to say we can spend three months in a 20' with two dogs. Actually I'm sure we could go longer but that's the longest trip we've taken.

Congrats! And great, great pictures.

Today is our 20th Anniversary. We were married in Yosemite and as our anniversary gift this year we got an airstream after talking about it for too long. You guys are 20 years ahead of us in getting your priorities straight.

Congratulations!!! LOVE the black and white pics!!! Very creative!!! My favorite is the color, with both of you in the door way, mountains in the reflection, and blue skies! Best of everything to both of you!

Thanks!!

Wow thanks so much for the encouragement everyone! We really appreciate it and the stories, I love the common adventure-love shared by Airstreamers. I think its a great bonding experience for couples to share in an adventure in an Airstream. My wife and I have been full-timing for about 6 weeks now...(I know not much..yet) but we plan to live in it while paying off student debt. After that we hope to travel around before settling down. We are excited for the days ahead.

I never thought about this but it does sound like a celebrity thing to do!
