Odd wrench . . . what's it for?

Found this in a cabinet when I bought AS. What's it for?

Thanks!

Could be for the balance jacks. Looks about right for that purpose.

I haven't seen one of those in years, but I'm pretty sure it's a framistat reverberator, which functions much like the famous Rockwell Retro-encabulator. Go here for a better description:

Enjoy.

Do you have an electric front jack? This looks like a manual handle when there is no power to the front jack. If this is the manual handle, there is a cover over the location on the jack that this will engage and you can turn it.

My guess, for what that is worth.

Had an opportunity to pick up two Retro Encabulators some time ago,... I've never looked back. Having the pair allows me to take one down for routine maintenance, So basically I'm never without
Encabulation. I sleep well, my friends.

I've been searching for one of those!

Those are a common Scataframer Spanner for adjusting the left hand reciprocating induction motor on a Plutonium PU-238 Space Demodulator.

But that particular one is a rare Whitworth Model with the 22 degree Rockwell Dumaflotcher attachment.

How much do you want for it?

Yes I have an electric jack. I bet that's it. I'll check tomorrow. Thanks!

This is the advanced model which replaces the stick with rope attached. http://www.airforums.com/forums/f44/...+rope+attached

Instead of deframulating like the rope often did under stress, the Airstream Model 7B.3 with fully operational handle will bramify the Wellstone carquisator in half the time the crude stick with rope attached did. Be sure to operate within stated parameters or you may experience the Brinson Effect. Be sure to replace the batteries each April 1.

Definitely looks like a stabilizing crank, or on the other hand, when turned in the opposite direction could be a de-stabilizing crank...

You would think that more people would recognize a blinker fluid drain plug tool when they see one...

If your investigation involves taking the electric motor head off your jack, be sure it's timed correctly when you put it back on. One of the first jobs we had to do on our Safari was replace a gear stripped by a badly timed jack.

Basically, the jack should stop electrically in both directions before it stops mechanically. Fortunately, the PO had kept the instructions for ours.

Many people have mistaken the tool for a Blinker Fluid Drain Plug Remover, much to their distress. The Blinker Remover does not have the hexagonal hole; it has a Grundig Doubletwist hole for the plug. Using this tool to remove the drain plug may result in refrundification and render the tool inoperable when you most need it for tricentrification and to operate the twin turbine plasma drive oscillators. At that point you will have to use the stick with rope attached for further vacuum clarifying.

This tool should not be used without proper safety gear because of reported instances of anticrundosis.

My mistake, Gene. I completely forgot about the plasma drive oscillators. Having those out of whack could certainly cause a misalignment within the waste particle acceleration unit's guidance system, that, as we all know, can cause premature axle failure.

Geez! And I thought it was just a window crank with the hole all hogged out! You just learn so much on these threads.

It's a very specialized tool for when you need to tighten both a 1/4" and 3/4" nut that are right next to each other. Slip the tool over both nuts, and turn the crank handle - voila! Both nuts will tighten at the same time. Of course, one of the nuts needs to be in a different space-time continuum, but I did say it was a very specialized tool.

Hopefully you figured out what it's really for by now.
