NYU Filmmaker Needs An Airstream!

Hi! I'm a film student at NewYork University about to shoot my senior thesis. I am looking for an Airstream (the older the better; something from the 60s or 70s is perfect) for a one day exterior shoot in ChaddsFord, PA on Tuesday, April 27th. The shoot will last only a few hours, and the trailer can remain locked the entire time. The film is fully insured. It's a small budget student film, but I can offer you $200, a great lunch, your name in the credits, and a fun day. What do you say? Want to make your Airstream a movie star? If not, I would appreciate any leads to help me locate a trailer.

Hi,

Are you filming in Chadds Ford which is located by Philadelphia? We have a 1973, 23' Safari and live in Bethlehem.

I want to clear up and cross reference a couple related threads. This project evidently is the same as that posted yesterday -- http://www.airforums.com/forums/f48/...oot-62610.html

Yesterday's thread was started by a friend. Being an older thread, it is not possible to merge it into this one. I've closed the other thread. All responses and assistance should be directed here. Thanks!

Bob

Thank You Bob!

I'm still searching for the right trailer and have a few leads. I'm waiting to hear back from a couple of people. If anyone else has any ideas about where to find a trailer, please send suggestions.

ChaddsFord (where film is shooting) is in southern Chester County, about 40 minutes from Philly, 15 minutes from Wilmington Delaware, and 1.5 hours from Baltimore.

Suggestion: you might want to add that you are looking for a very short trailer. That might help in your search... Apparently Anna is to big of a girl for this film. She will always be a superstar in my book thought.

Dear Frank and Anna...

Hi Frank. Anna is still on the list, so who knows, she just may be a movie star yet.
But yes, ideally, if someone has a trailer around 22 feet, that would be perfect.
Also, if your 22 foot Safari should become available, let me know.
Otherwise, I will be in touch with you in a week or two. Thanks for the suggestion.

We have a 1961 Bambi and are about 20 minutes from Chadds Ford if you are still looking. Can send pictures this evening.

I have seen photos of this Bambi and it is very nice. And they are close to Chadds Ford.

So I am guessing the location would be either the Chadds Ford River Museum on Longwood Gardens?

My Safari was found in Wilmington, DE. My hometown. Had I left it in it's found condition it would probably be more suitable for your set. But I just had to fix it up and remove forty years of vintage charm.

Good luck with your project.
