Newbee needs help in Texas!

Gosh, I’m hoping someone out there has some time to meet me in Salado, Tx, today around 2pm to look at a 25’ flying cloud. . . This is my first airstream purchase. . . . Can anybody help? I’m happy to pay for time and expertise- pics look great, but feels like I have to see it in person!

There is a feature somewhere on this site that lists people willing to help with inspections in their area. For the life of me I can't remember where to look. But see if you can track that down. Good luck. If you don't find anybody, private message me, perhaps I can face time while you inspect.

For area inspectors, hit the Portal button then look on the right side of the page. Should be able to type in a state. Wish I could help, but I’m just not familiar with Airstreams built after 1970. Good luck

Brian - thanks so much for your kind and generous offer! My phone ran out of electrons, as i arrived at the AS in question, in Texas. So - i found myself left to my own devices. Turns out, that was totally ok! It appears to me to be a gently used 2017 25’ flying cloud, which has been inspected annually, and cared for meticulously. So - it is a YES!, AND we couldn’t be more pleased or excited! Thanks again for all your help - i DID find inspectors thru the portal, but none that would be close to Salado, TX; The folks selling it were just great, could not have been a more positive experience! We are so so soooo excited! Carol

Very nice, glad things worked out. Even the best maintained Airstreams will encounter new and unrevealed issues in time so don't be surprised if you missed some minor things. It's okay though folks here have seen most everything.

If you haven’t had all systems demonstrated might be the next best idea.

Looking great (a system) AC, fridge, furnace, water heater and plumbing is not the same as working.

Often simple I didn’t know that can be avoided with demonstrations and quality time with owners manuals.
